Mahindra eKUV 100

Just like Tata, Mahindra also has big plans for its home market in terms of electric vehicles. The Indian automaker has a couple of launches lined up for the upcoming months including the eKUV 100, which was revealed during Auto Expo 2020. The eKUV 100 is similar to the combustion engine-powered KUV100, with slight exterior changes such as a closed front grill which is generally the norm on EVs. It will directly compete with the likes of Tata Tigor EV and even the upcoming Altroz EV.

Mahindra eKUV 100 is the homegrown brand's take on premium hatchback electric cars. It will feature a full-fledged touchscreen infotainment system that has various functions and options built into it such as a navigation system. The EV is likely to pack in a 15.9 kWh battery pack, which is said to provide a mileage of 100 km and fast charge in about an hour. The top speeds for this vehicle could be around 85 km per hour.

Mahindra eKUV 100 price in India (expected)

Mahindra eKUV 100 being a budget-oriented car is expected to be priced at Rs 8 - 9 lakhs.
